ABOUT US
Richard Jones qualified from Liverpool Veterinary School in 1992 and has spent over 30 years working solely in small animal practice.
The first 10 years were spent working in a large veterinary hospital alongside specialists in cardiology, dermatology, and ophthalmology and for the last 22 years he has been running his own practice.

During those 22 years Richard built the practice around the ethos of care and compassion for the animals and complete client satisfaction.
He quotes, “I try to be friendly, open and approachable and was proud to be nominated by my clients on four separate occasions for the prestigious annual Vet of the Year Awards."

Richard's practice, based on the grounds of Kings Garden Centre, is the first purpose built veterinary centre in the area.

It has a spacious waiting room, 3 large consulting rooms , 2 operating theatres, separate cat and dog wards and a state of the art x-ray suite. We have all the facilities on site to cater for all your veterinary needs from simple things such as clipping nails right up to complex orthopaedic procedures.

There are in-house blood analysis machines which can give diagnostic results in minutes and digital x-ray facilities for instant razor sharp images.

The staff include a qualified veterinary nurse, trainee nurse and experienced reception staff who will be pleased to answer all your questions either by telephone or if you just want to pop in for a chat.
